Summer Glau's most famous roles are River Tam on the highly acclaimed Firefly TV series and Cameron as the lead character in Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . She was the youngest of three children to Marcela and Abraham Quintanilla. Selena joined the band of her father as she was eight years old. Selena was the lead guitarist in the band, along with her two siblings Abraham junior and sister Suzette performing drums. Selena acted as the vocalist. The group was named Selena Y Los Dino and they would play with her siblings in various bars restaurants wedding fairs and other events. Selena as well as her siblings and their parents were extremely involved in the group. They didn't have a childhood. However, Abraham inspired them to be determined musicians because of his passion. Abraham senior was also a musician in the original band called Los Dinos. Selena Y Los Dinos began to be formed in the year 1981. It was a family's business, and also the principal source of revenue for the Quintanilla family. While there were difficult times starting out with very little funds, the Quintanilla family was determined and continued with their efforts to become an extremely successful group. Selena Y Los Dinos would gain popularity in the western states in the 1980s. Selena as the group's lead singer of the group, was awarded two Awards at the Tejano Awards of 1985: Female Vocalist Of The Year, and also Performer. Selena Y Los Dinos gained recognition and fame after that. They appeared on a variety of shows in Spanish, including El Show De Johnny Canales, Siempre En Domingo and Sabado Gigante.
